About Us

'Dark Heart' & 'Night Shade' are the names of the two half yearly published anthologies by the London based publishing house, Little Bird Publishing House (Little Bird)

They are non-profit making publications, with monies raised after production costs, going to charities of the contributors' choice.

The 'Dark Heart' anthology collects stories from some of the most interesting and talented rising YA writers, offering readers the chance to explore new writers and new styles.

The 'Night Shades' anthology is LBPH horror and ghost story collection aimed at a more adult audience.

Little Bird has a no barriers policy, supporting previously unpublished and indie writers.
